Milky Tea were tasked to create computer-generated imagery (CGI) of Vimto’s infamous characters and create photo-realistic packaging and fruit, for print and press advertising of Vimto’s latest campaign.
We worked alongside award-winning advertising agency, Driven, to bring together the playful characters and photo-realistic packaging and deliver Vimto’s brand message in a fun yet serious way.
Using CGI, we recreated Vimto’s ‘Seriously Mixed Up Fruit’ characters (previously used in MTV TV adverts) and created 3D lettering to convey the message, a photorealistic 3D illustration of a Vimtobottle, glass of cordial and fruit, thus creating stylistic characters in a photo-realistic world.
We worked closely with Vimto to ensure that we captured the Vimto brand essence by retaining the strong personality that the cheeky fruit characters have cultivated for the brand.
The work was currently featured in the national press, on their brand website and on various social mediachannels. We created different variants of the images in the brief so that the assets could be reused in different formats for different purposes.
