About milky tea

Milky Tea is an award-winning video game development studio based in Liverpool. Our exceptionally talented team work across the UK and the EU, developing memorable gaming experiences using the latest technology for some of the world’s biggest brands, platforms, and publishers.

Experience needed

• No QA experience is required but previous experience with Jira and QA processes is welcomed.

role description

• Perfect for gamers looking for a way into the exciting world of the gaming industry.

• Looking for someone with a keen eye, attention to detail and unrelenting drive for quality, that is comfortable with PC gaming and has experience using other platforms.

• In this role, you will work with the internal production and development teams in reporting and regressing bugs in our up-and-coming projects.

Responsibilities include

• Testing our projects in development across a variety of hardware and reporting issues in a comprehensive, clear and concise manner.

• Developing and executing test plans to ensure every area of the title is thoroughly checked.

• Highlighting areas of the game which require attention from the quality perspective to the development team.

• Innovating new ways to improve our processes.

• Regressing fixed issues to confirm fixes have been correctly implemented.
  

Benefits

• We have a flexitime working policy with core working hours between 10am and 4pm.

• You will receive 28 days holiday per year, inclusive of bank holidays, and an additional 1 days paid holiday “Birthday Bunk Day” per year.

• After 2 years of continuous service, your holiday entitlement will increase year-on-year by one extra day’s holiday up to a maximum of five additional days.

• You will be offered a competitive company pension scheme and private health insurance.

• You will be entitled to the company performance bonus scheme. We pay a company performance bonus depending upon the financial performance of the business. (This is once a year after completing 12 months employment).

• We hold regular team social events throughout the year (Virtual and non-virtual).

• We will supply you with a company laptop and/or desktop.

• A company parking permit will be available if required.
