mAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER

• Manage our main studio accounts to bring a voice to them, engage with our community and share more about who we are.

• Create and execute social media plans to help drive awareness of the studio and what we do in the Games, Entertainment, and Toys industry.

• Attract more inbound enquiries for B2B and recruitment purposes through social media strategies, newsletters, and networking.

• Support our game developers and publishers in cultivating and growing an avid fan base across new titles.

• Facilitate the transfer of media between our studio and our publisher.

• Create and edit engaging and eye-catching promotional material.

• Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase engagement and improve performance.

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer enquiries, comments, and reviews on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.

• Represent Milky Tea at trade events, developer events, and networking events.

• Assist the operational team with internal comms and organisation of social events.

• Conduct market research on the videogames marketplace and present data in a digestible manner.

• Organise A/B testing and lead consumer testing labs.


wHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years’ experience in a social media manager role.

• Strong understanding of social media platforms.

• Ability to create social media plans is essential.

• Proven track-record of growing social media channels.

• Games industry experience is distinctly advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, digital media, or another relevant field is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Hootsuite, MailChimp and other similar platforms is beneficial.

PERSONAL:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Passionate for video games and the games industry is essential.

• Ability to think creatively with a keen eye to create visually appealing content.

• Proficient copywriting and copy-editing skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

• Highly organised.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to be flexible on a day-to-day basis with task priority.

• Willing to travel for events and be flexible in their working-patterns to accommodate weekends (with time to be given in lieu).

wHAT WE OFFER

  • Hybrid working schedule – working 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.

  • Flexitime policy; core working hours are between 10am to 4pm.
